Title: Soft Skills e Hard Skills:: análise bibliométrica a partir da ISI Web of Science

Abstract: Diante do atual cenário, caracterizado por grandes transformações no mercado de trabalho, torna-se mais exigente a diversidade de habilidades requeridas pelas organizações. O objetivo deste trabalho foi mapear a produção científica sobre hard e soft skills na ISI Web of Knowledge/Web of ScienceTM, uma das principais bases internacionais de dados. Foi realizada uma análise bibliométrica com o uso do software HistCiteTM, com licença no Brasil e apoio do software VOSviewer. Após a consulta bibliométrica feita na principal coleção do Web of ScienceTM, foram encontrados 36 artigos sobre ‘competências’, ‘hard skills’ e ‘soft skills’, publicados em 29 periódicos distintos escritos por 99 autores que possuem vínculos à 52 instituições, localizadas em 24 países. Pode-se concluir os resultados mostraram a força das soft skills em diferentes segmentos de atividade (gestão de projetos, tecnologia da informação, logística, suprimentos dentre outros). Chamou atenção que nenhum dos dez artigos mais citados tenha realizado pesquisa sobre a área de recursos humanos, possivelmente por já se considerar que sejam inerentes aos profissionais de recursos humanos as habilidades pessoais, sociais e comportamentais. / Given the current scenario, characterized by major changes in the labor market, the diversity of skills required by organizations becomes more demanding. The aim of this work was to map the scientific production on hard and soft skills at ISI Web of Knowledge/Web of ScienceTM, one of the main international databases. A bibliometric analysis was performed using the HistCiteTM software, licensed in Brazil and supported by VOSviewer software. After the bibliometric consultation made in the main collection of the Web of ScienceTM, were found 36 articles on 'skills', 'hard skills' and 'soft skills', published in 29 different journals, written by 99 authors who has links to 52 institutions, located in 24 countries. It can be concluded that the results showed the strength of soft skills in different activity segments (project management, information technology, logistics, supplies, among others). It was note that none of the ten most cited articles have conducted research on the area of human resources, possibly because personal, social and behavioral skills are already considered inherent to human resources professionals.
