Breve resumo:

The house in study, built between 1942 and 1947, is located in the corner of Avenida de Montevideu and Avenida da Boavista, next to Castelo do Queijo, presented as a “rental building” constructed for Carlos Alberto Cabral, 2nd Count of Vizela, with project of Homero Ferreira Dias, pupil of José Marques da Silva and member of his atelier. The building use modern architecture’s practices and solutions and applies elements with art déco style, influenced by the contacts of the commitment with the international artistic environment, as well of the architect with the portuguese modernist movement, in a period where is settled and spread a politic of taste by Estado Novo.​
