Title: Curatela e Serviço Social: atuação profissional na Justiça de Família

Abstract: Na emergência de novas demandas que compõem o cotidiano profissional, esta pesquisa versa sobre a intervenção das (dos) assistentes sociais na atuação como peritos em ações judiciais de curatela. Para compreender tal fenômeno, é apresentada uma análise bibliográfica e documental sobre a temática, além da realização de uma pesquisa de campo com os profissionais. A pesquisa propôs-se a discutir temáticas e informações obtidas por meio de questionários aplicados a assistentes sociais que integram o quadro de Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de Goiás em diferentes regiões do estado. Neste âmbito, o objetivo é dialogar com as alterações no universo da curatela, o debate sobre capacidades e cidadania trazidas a partir do Estatuto da Pessoa com Deficiência. O caminho percorrido parte da discussão sobre a trajetória da interdição civil no Brasil, a inserção e o percurso do/a assistente social como perito em ações de curatela na Justiça da Família e o uso de seus instrumentais. Como resultado, foi apreendido o importante papel do/a assistente social na lide com esta demanda. Foram identificados desafios, possibilidades e questões a serem discutidas sobre a temática. Dentre eles, a realidade social acerca da responsabilização sobre as famílias em contexto de reformas neoliberais, a necessidade de reconhecer a cidadania dos cidadãos curatelados e de efetivação de direitos desses cidadãos e de suas famílias nas intervenções sociojurídicas e nas políticas sociais. / In the emergence of new demands of professional daily life, this research is about the intervention of social workers in their role as experts in guardianship lawsuits. To understand the phenomenon, a bibliographic and documental analysis on the subject is presented, in addition to conducting a field research with professionals. The research proposed to discuss themes and information obtained through questionnaires applied to social workers who are part of the State of Goiás Justice Court in different regions of the state. In this context, the objective is to dialogue with the changes in the curatorship universe, the debate on capacities and citizenship brought about from the Statute of Persons with Disabilities. The path taken is part of the discussion on the trajectory of civil interdiction in Brazil, the insertion and trajectory of the social worker as an expert in guardianship actions in Family Justice and the use of its instruments. In the results, the important role of the social worker in working with this demand was understood. Finally, challenges, possibilities and issues to be discussed on the subject are identified. Among them, the social reality about the accountability of families in the context of neoliberal reforms, the need to recognize the citizenship of dependent citizens and the enforcement of rights of these citizens and their families in socio-juridical interventions and social policies.
